Mobile Billboard Company on the Rise

Back in 2005, I was a young saver with dreams of becoming of a successful businessman. I saved enough at one point in my life to buy a truck off of a whim and an idea; to start a mobile billboard company here in Las Vegas. That is exactly what I did. With a partner and some brainstorming, we constructed the first truck on our soon to be fleet in February or March of ‘05.

Well, as you can see about my one of my earlier posts about partnerships….it rarely goes according to plan with partnerships and for ours it was no different. We had some early success and actually helped a few elected officials in our local community with there campaigns. You see I always knew that mass advertising was highly effective and I still do. I have been dormant in providing mobile advertising services since November of 2006 if I am not mistaking. Our business came to a sudden halt after a series of unfortunate events that left me unstable, financially, to continue on with day to day operations.

Sure, I may have been able to get some outside investing and that is still certainly an option, but for right now I have new hopes. A buddy of mine purchased a mobile billboard of his own around the same time my outdoor advertising endevors went into hibernation. He may have found some clients for the 2 trucks that I have in storage in which a contract could get thrown our way any day now.

My concern is will the promotion fit my moral standard? In times like this should I have a moral standard? When the financial crunch hits (if it hits at all, notion comes to me from the fact that winter always comes) should I turn a client down based on the content he she or it is advertising or should I take the money and provided the service regardless?

Here is a picture of the vinyl on one of the company trucks after we installed it 2 days ago.
